BEVA is committed to serve and lead the equine veterinary profession in the championing of high standards of equine health and welfare and the promotion of scientific excellence and education throughout the world......so why be a BEVA member and what's in it for you?

Firstly, BEVA are proud to provide the world beating journals, Equine Veterinary Education (EVE) and Equine Veterinary Journal (EVJ). Not only do BEVA members receive a hard copy of these journals on a monthly basis, but as a member you have exclusive online access to all back issues, from the very first EVJ published in 1968 (and the first EVE in 1989) to the present day, offering plenty of bedtime reading!
BEVA members are also entitled to discounted rates for all BEVA CPD courses (approx 50 per year) and our annual Congress, giving you the opportunity to spend a day or three out of the office meeting new people, making new contacts, catching up with old friends and all whilst benefiting from world class CPD.
Not only will you receive discounts at BEVA Congress, but as a BEVA member you are entitled to reciprocal member rates at other association congresses where you can register for various international CPD credits.
The BEVA website and Members Area, provides all things "BEVA" for our members. It is here that you will gain online access to EVE and EVJ, sign up for the latest CPD event (including Congress) and view all the latest news and information from the Equine Veterinary world.
The BEVA Practice Portfolio is also available to BEVA members and provides relevant, important and up to date information regarding key issues faced in Equine Practice. The Practice Portfolio is currently available via the member's area on the BEVA website, but we are hoping to bring this closer to our members simply by a touch of a button on your smart phone!
BEVA members can now receive 5% discount on selected Insurance policies with SEIB.
As a BEVA member you are also able to apply for Travel and Research Awards through the BEVA Trust and are entitled to 10% discount with the EVJ Bookshop.
On top of this we are continually striving to improve communication with our members through emails, mailings, social networking and our bi-annual newsletter. As a BEVA member you will receive fortnightly updates keeping you up to speed with what is happening in your profession and what the association is getting involved with
And at the end of the day, we aim for a sense of fun, camraderie and support for all of our members!
