BEVA Trust History
The BEVA Trust was established in 1966 to provide a mechanism for giving strategic support to the association and its members.
To date your funds have been invaluable, helping us support equine research and welfare both at home and oveseas, through an abundance of initiatives/schemes.
Your support has been given to many diverse activities including:
- Sponsorship of expert CPD training courses for student, new graduate and experienced veterinarians, nurses and farriers;
- Provision of Travel Scholarships/Awards for student, new graduate and experienced veterinarians;
- Supporting Practice-Based Clinical Research Study;
- Sponsorship of annual awards to author(s) of outstanding scientific papers within the Equine Veterinary Journal;
- Provision of educational meetings and resources for those absolutely and directly involved with the horse, i.e. owners, trainers, riders and grooms;
- Funding travel for international experts to speak at BEVA Congress, courses and meetings;
