BEVA Trust Awards

The Trust offers support to BEVA members through a number of awards

The Trust also supports The BEVA Trust EVJ Open Award Winner and The BEVA Trust Queen Mother Award - Best Travel Report. Both awards are presented annually at BEVA Congress.

This year the EVJ Open award has been awarded to Dr Olsted and co-authors for their papers published in January 2008 issue of Equine Veterinary Journal entitled:

Epiphyseal cartilage canal blood supply to the tarsus of foals and relationship to osteochondrosis, Olsatd, K., Ytrehus, B., Ekman, S., Carlson, C.S. and Dolvik, N.I. This year The BEVA Trust Queen Mother Award - Best Travel Report has been awarded to Susan Armstrong. Susan visited Randwick Equine Centre (REC), Sydney, Australia for a four week externship in 2008.
