This course has been designed to enhance the EVN curriculum by providing an overview of conditions affecting the foal and young horse prior to starting a career as an athlete. This course is aimed at the nurse working in equine practice either as a trainee, qualified VN or EVN. Practical sessions will enable the delegate to gain some vital experience with visits to a racing yard and the Jockey Club providing a behind-the-scenes view of the racing industry. Comprehensive course notes will be provided and a course dinner is included for the Saturday night.
