Paraprofessionals Committee

The Paraprofessional Committee, chaired by Henry Tremaine, is responsible for developing the Association’s policies and relationships with those working in fields allied to equine veterinary medicine. Veterinary nursing, farriery, equine dental technicians, AI technicians, and musculo-skeletal allied professional groups all come under the gaze of this Committee. Recent issues that the Committee has worked on include Exemption Orders for AI and Equine Dental technicians, and veterinary liability when sedated horses are treated by a paraprofessional.
